Riyadh – Mubasher: Fawaz Abdulaziz Alhokair Company achieved net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 82.65 million during the nine-month (9M) period that ended on 31 December 2021, against losses of SAR 761.91 million in the same period a year earlier.

Earnings per share amounted to SAR 0.41 in 9M of fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022, against a loss per share of SAR 3.59 in 9M-20/21.

Revenues jumped by 46% to SAR 4.52 billion during the nine-month period of FY21/22, from SAR 3.10 billion in the corresponding duration of the previous FY, according to the company’s initial consolidated financial results.

During the third quarter (Q3) of FY21/22, Alhokair achieved net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 16.03 million, versus losses of SAR 128.12 million during Q3-20/21.

Sales hiked by 8.6% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 1.46 billion in Q3-21/22 from SAR 1.34 billion.

On a quarterly basis, the company’s net profits declined by 23.26% in Q3-21/22 from SAR 20.89 million in Q2-21/22, while the revenues increased by 7.7% from SAR 1.36 billion.

It is worth noting that during the first half (H1) of FY21/22, the Saudi listed company recorded net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 66.6 million, against losses of SAR 633.8 million in H1-20/21.
