UAE stock markets close Monday’s session on mixed note

UAE – Mubasher: The benchmark index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Monday lower by 9.68 points (0.29%) at 3,247.81 points.

The turnover totalled AED 199.14 million through the exchange of 112.96 million shares.

Al Salam Bank – Sudan led the fallers with 6.57%, while Oman Insurance Company (OIC) headed the risers with 14.61%.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest trading value of AED 38.51 million, while Deyaar Development was the most active stock on which 10.67 million shares were exchanged.

On the other hand, the main index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went up by 1.195% to 9,105.94 points.

The turnover stood at AED 1.38 billion after 241.51 million shares were traded. The market cap value amounted to AED 1.73 trillion.

Ghitha Holding was the top riser with 14.47%, while Gulf Medical Projects led the fallers with 10%.

Aldar Properties recorded the highest trading volume and value through the exchange of 299.82 million shares at AED 70.90 million. This came in line with the $1.4 billion investment received by Aldar from Apollo Global Management.
