Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Waha Capital posted AED 391.03 million worth of net profits attributable to the owners in 2021, up 69% from AED 230.96 million a year earlier.

The company's revenues increased to AED 874.42 million last year, compared to AED 605.02 million in 2020, according to the company's consolidated financials for 2021.

The basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) settled at AED 0.213 in the 12-month period that ended on 31 December 2021, versus AED 0.126 in the year-ago period.

It is worth noting that in the first nine months (9M) of 2021, the company achieved net profits worth AED 296.54 million, compared to AED 58.507 million in 9M-20.

Waha Capital’s board has recommended, on 14 February, a cash dividend distribution of 7.55 fils per share, representing 7.55% of its capital, for 2021.

The board of the Abu Dhabi-based investment company also proposed transferring 2.45 shares for every 100 shares to the shareholders.
