Cairo – Mubasher: The consolidated net profits of Oriental Weavers Carpet increased by 9% to EGP 1.21 billion in 2021, compared to EGP 1.11 billion in 2020, including minority shareholders' rights.

The company's sales retreated to EGP 11.4 billion in 2021 from EGP 9.48 billion in the earlier year, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.

As for standalone businesses, the company reported a rise in net profits to EGP 865.07 million last year from EGP 549.33 million in 2020.

Meanwhile, the company's board has recommended a cash dividend distribution of EGP 1 per share for 2021.

It is noteworthy to mention that during the first nine months (9M) of 2021, the company recorded consolidated net profits of EGP 960.24 million, a surge of 57.9% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 607.904 million, including minority shareholders' rights.
