Dubai – Mubasher: The ordinary general meeting (OGM) of National Central Cooling Company (Tabreed) has agreed on a cash dividend distribution of 6 fils per share, aggregating at a total value of AED 166.55 million, for 2021.

The company will also issue bonus shares of an amount equal to one share for every 40 shares, representing around AED 69.39 million, according to a bourse filing on Tuesday.

Tabreed’s Chairman, Khaled Abdulla Al Qubaisi, commented: "2021 was a stellar year for Tabreed, seeing us outperform on multiple fronts to advance towards our long-term sustainable growth plans."

Meanwhile, Tabreed’s CEO, Khalid Abdulla Al Marzooqi, said: "Tabreed has a more diverse business portfolio than ever before, as we continue to expand into new geographical regions and service offerings. Recently we announced new projects in Egypt and Saudi Arabia, while our operations in India continue to gather pace."

It is noteworthy to mention that in 2021, the company's net profits attributable to the owners rose by 6% to AED 585.2 million from AED 550.3 million in the previous year.
