UAE - Mubasher: The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) and the UK-based FTSE Russell will launch a new benchmark blue chip equities index, effective on 30 March 2022.

Designed as a tradable index, the FADX 15 aims to support the derivatives market and create index-tracking investment products, including ETFs, according to the ADX's website.

The index will focus on the performance of the most liquid 15 companies on the ADX main market, selected by using a free float-adjusted market capitalisation and median daily trading value.
