Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 22 billion through two offerings on Sunday, 3 April.
The first tranche was valued at EGP 13 billion, carrying a maturity period of 91 days until 5 July 2022, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second issue totalled EGP 9 billion, holding a tenor of 273 days until 3 January 2023.
On March 31, the CBE offered T-bills at a total value of EGP 20.50 billion through two issues.
