Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 22 billion through two offerings on Sunday, 15 May.
With a tenor of 91 days until 16 August this year, the first tranche stood at EGP 13 billion, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second issue was valued at EGP 9 billion, carrying a 273-day maturity period until 14 February 2023.
On 12 May, the CBE issued T-bills worth EGP 20.50 billion through two tranches.
