Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia is participating in the World Economic Forum (WEF) 2022, which takes place in Switzerland’s Davos during 22–26 May.

A high-level Saudi delegation will be attending several meetings to outline the Kingdom’s role in helping the international community navigate emerging geopolitical as well as economic disruptions, according to a press release.

The WEF event has returned after a two-year absence due to the COVID-19 pandemic, under the theme ‘History at a Turning Point: Government Policies and Business Strategies’.

The Saudi delegation to WEF will be part of public and private sessions covering potential solutions to critical global challenges such as climate change, the emerging economic crisis, as well as disrupted logistics and supply chains. The dialogues will also consider geopolitical tensions, global energy security, and the ongoing fallout from the pandemic.

More than 2,500 high-level leaders from across the globe are set to participate in the World Economic Forum 2022. The officials will include state and business leaders, investors, in addition to policy- and decision-makers.
