Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 24 billion through two issues on Sunday, 22 May.
The first offering stood at EGP 14 billion, carrying a 91-day maturity period until 23 August this year, according to official data.
With a tenor of 273 days until 21 February 2023, the second tranche was valued at EGP 10 billion.
On 19 May, the CBE offered T-bills worth EGP 19 billion through two issues.
