Cairo – Mubasher: Lecico Egypt recorded consolidated net profits of EGP 33.33 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, against net losses of EGP 14.15 million in the same period of 2021, including minority shareholders' rights.

The company generated revenues of EGP 745.52 million in Q1-22, up from EGP 600.50 million in Q1-21, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.

As for the standalone businesses, the company's net profits jumped to EGP 69.13 million in the January-March period of 2022, compared to EGP 32.07 million in the year-ago period.

It is noteworthy to mention that in 2021, the company's consolidated net losses retreated to EGP 23.33 million from EGP 222.4 million in 2020.
