Cairo – Mubasher: The net profits of Misr National Steel (Ataqa) increased to EGP 67.95 million in the first quarter (Q1) of 2022, compared to EGP 63.34 million in the year-ago period.

The company's revenues amounted to EGP 875.94 million in Q1-22, up from EGP 769.03 million in Q1-21, according to a bourse filing on Thursday.

It is noteworthy to mention that in 2021, the company achieved net profits of EGP 100.44 million, against net losses of EGP 4.52 million in 2020.
