UAE - Mubasher: Grubtech, a Dubai-based restaurant and cloud kitchen management platform, has launched its services in Egypt and named Osama Harfoush as the Country Manager for the Arab republic, according to a press release.

While operating in the Egyptian market through its Cairo office, the startup will focus on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as cloud kitchens to cover sales, marketing, customer success, and others.

The move comes in line with the platform’s vision to expand in the Middle East, Africa, and worldwide.

Launched in 2019, Grubtech secured a total of $13 million in Series A funding and is currently running its business in 18 international markets.

Mohamed Al Fayed, Co-Founder and CEO of Grubtech, said: “In all key channels, takeaway and delivery transactions are expected to drive more revenues compared to dine-in transactions.”
