UAE - Mubasher: The UAE Ministry of Finance is launching on Monday, 20 June, the second auction of federal treasury bonds (T-bonds) with a total value of AED 1.5 billion, as part of the AED 9 billion T-bonds issuance programme 2022.

The auction is distributed over two and three-year tranches valued at AED 750 million each, according to a recent press release.

This step aims to raise the volume of individual bonds issued to improve liquidity in the secondary market.

In May, the Ministry of Finance issued the first auction of the UAE dirham-denominated T-bonds programme with a total value of AED 1.5 billion, divided into two tranches.
