Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has issued treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 20 billion through two tranches on Thursday, 23 June.
The first issue was valued at EGP 12 billion, holding a tenor of 182 days until 27 December this year, according to official data.
The second tranche stood at EGP 8 billion, carrying a 364-day maturity period until 27 June 2023.
On 19 June, the CBE offered T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 22 billion through two issues.
