Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) will be closed on Thursday, 30 June, on the occasion of 30 June Revolution holiday.

Banks operating in Egypt will also halt their operations on 30 June, upon an announcement by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).

Trading and work at the EGX and banks will resume on Sunday, 3 July.

Last week, Egypt’s Prime Minister, Mostafa Madbouly, stated that Thursday, 30 June, will be an official paid holiday for all ministries, government entities, as well as the public and private sectors.
