Abu Dhabi - Mubasher: AD Ports Group has inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to support the UAE-based Hayat Biotech’s expansion through its pharma logistics network, including the KIZAD-based cold and ultra-cold pharma hub.
The partnership will help Hayat Biotech to launch global manufacturing centres and offer logistics solutions to serve its international markets, according to a press release on Tuesday.
Under the agreement, strategic construction supplies will be shipped to develop the company’s biopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
Upon its completion, the facilities will produce biopharmaceutical products, including the HayatVax vaccine, the first indigenously produced COVID-19 vaccine in the UAE and the Arab world.
Meanwhile, Hayat Biotech’s biopharmaceutical products will be distributed by the HOPE Consortium, an Abu Dhabi-led partnership operating one of the world’s largest and most complete end-to-end pharma supply chains.
