UAE stock markets close Monday in red zone

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) closed Monday’s session lower by 21.06 points (0.64%) at 3,235.90 points.

Meanwhile, the trading value totalled AED 183.06 million after 76.88 million shares were exchanged.

Dar Al Takaful led the losers with 5.84%, while Al Salam Bank – Sudan topped the gainers with 14.40%.

Emaar Properties recorded the highest turnover of AED 40.21 million, while Air Arabia was the most active stock on which 10.55 million shares were exchanged.

Similarly, the benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) fell by 0.831% to close the session at 9,579.42 points.

The trading value amounted to AED 1.18 billion through the exchange of 130.86 million shares. The market cap reached AED 1.99 trillion.

Ras Al Khaimah Company for White Cement and Construction Materials (RAK White Cement) was the top faller with 9.41%, while Gulf Medical Projects Company (GMPC) advanced the risers with 10.53%.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 336.33 million, while Multiply Group was the most active stock on which 33.40 million shares were exchanged.
