Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has offered treasury bills (T-bills) at an aggregated value of EGP 21.50 billion through two tranches on Sunday, 31 July 2022.
Holding a 91-day tenor until 1 November 2022, the first issue was valued at EGP 14 billion, according to official data.
The second tranche is EGP 7.50 billion, carrying a maturity period of 273 days until 2 May 2023.
On 28 July, the CBE auctioned T-bills at a total value of EGP 31 billion through two issues.
