Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned on Sunday, 7 August treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 23 billion through two tranches.

With a 91-day tenor until 8 November 2022, the first issue was valued at EGP 15 billion, according to official data.

The second tranche stood at EGP 8 billion, carrying a maturity period of 273 days until 9 May 2023.

On 4 August, the CBE offered T-bills at an aggregated value of EGP 30 billion through two issues.
