UAE - Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) gained 8.77 points (0.25%) to close Wednesday’s trading session at 3,394.24 points.

A total of 219.58 million shares were traded at a value of AED 352.47 million.

Shuaa Capital topped the risers with 2.37%, while Takaful Emarat – Insurance led the fallers with 9.75%.

Emaar Properties posted the highest turnover of AED 155.34 million, while Gulf Navigation Holding (GNH) was the most active stock on which 31.86 million shares were exchanged.

The benchmark index of Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also rose by 0.815% to close the session at 10,239.38 points.

The trading value reached AED 1.41 billion through the exchange of 230.50 million shares. The market cap amounted to AED 2.13 trillion.

National Marine Dredging Company (NMDC) advanced the gainers with 6.96%, while National Corporation for Tourism and Hotels (NCTH) headed the losers with 9.80%.

Multiply Group was the most active stock on which 73.63 million shares were traded, while International Holding Company (IHC) recorded the highest turnover of AED 370.83 million.
