Dubai – Mubasher: Dubai Investments has reported net profits attributable to the owners worth AED 364.08 million during the first half (H1) of 2022, higher than AED 302.06 million in H1-21.

The total income declined to AED 1.54 billion in the first six months (6M) of 2022, compared to AED 1.72 billion, according to the financial results.

The basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) rose to AED 0.09 in H1-22 from AED 0.07 in H1-21.

During the second quarter (Q2) of 2022, the net profits attributable to the shareholders of Dubai Investments fell to AED 161.53 million from AED 178.29 million in Q2-21.

Meanwhile, the total income plunged to AED 786.27 million in April-June 2022 from AED 1.08 billion in the year-ago period.

The basic and diluted EPS stood at AED 0.04 in Q2-22, unchanged from Q2-21.

In a separate bourse disclosure, the company’s board recommended an interim cash dividend of 7.50 fils per share for H1-22. Dubai Investments would pay nearly AED 318.90 million as H1-22 dividends.

Last year, the UAE-based firm posted a hike in net profit attributable to the owners to AED 619.48 million from AED 347.55 million in 2020.
