Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has issued treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a value of EGP 1 billion through one auction on Monday, 22 August.
The offering will mature in five years on 12 July 2027, according to official data.
Additionally, the CBE auctioned zero-coupon T-bonds worth EGP 7.50 billion through one issue, which holds a tenor of 1.5 years until 13 February 2024.
Last week, the central bank issued T-bonds at a combined value of EGP 4 billion through two offerings and zero-coupon T-bonds worth EGP 7 billion through one tranche.
