Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 23 billion through two offerings on Sunday, 18 September.

The first issue was valued at EGP 15 billion and will mature in 91 days on 20 December 2022, according to official data.

With a tenor of 273 days until 20 June 2023, the second offering stood at EGP 8 billion.

On 15 September, the central bank issued T-bills at a total value of EGP 30 billion through two auctions.
