Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bills (T-bills) worth EGP 28.50 billion through two tranches on Sunday, 2 October.
The first offering stood at EGP 8 billion and will mature in 91 days on 3 January 2023, according to official data.
Holding a tenor of 273 days until 4 July next year, the second auction was valued at EGP 20.50 billion.
On 29 September, the CBE offered T-bills at a total value of EGP 26.50 billion through two issues.
