Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 28.50 billion through two tranches on Sunday, 30 October, according to official data.
The first issue stood at EGP 8 billion, holding a tenor of 91 days until 31 January 2023.
Meanwhile, the second auction was valued at EGP 20.50 billion and will mature in 273 days on 1 August next year.
On 27 October, the CBE offered T-bills worth EGP 26.50 billion through two issues.
