Cairo – Mubasher: The consolidated net profits after tax of Egyptian Financial Group Hermes Holding (EFG Hermes) stood at EGP 1.31 billion in the first nine months (9M) of 2022, up from EGP 1.12 billion in 9M-21.

Total revenues amounted to EGP 6.31 billion in 9M-22, higher than EGP 4.02 billion in the year-ago period, according to the income statements.

During the third quarter (Q3) of 2022, the net profits after tax enlarged to EGP 410.03 million from EGP 368.73 million in Q3-21, while the total revenues surged to EGP 2.32 billion from EGP 1.18 billion.

Standalone Business

EFG Hermes generated EGP 3.24 billion in standalone net profits after tax during the January-September 2022 period, a leap from EGP 126.61 million in 9M-21.

The non-consolidated total revenues hiked to EGP 3.97 billion in 9M-22 from EGP 482.12 million in 9M-21, while the earnings per share (EPS) jumped to EGP 2.78 from EGP 0.11.

In Q3-22, the EGX-listed firm turned to profits after tax worth EGP 388.03 million, against net losses of EGP 180.70 million in Q3-21.

The EPS stood at EGP 0.33 from in Q3-22, versus a loss per share of EGP 0.16 during the same period in the previous year.

Standalone total revenues amounted to EGP 637.11 million in July-September 2022. In Q3-21, the firm registered negative revenues worth EGP 98.69 million.

In the first half (H1) of 2022, the company reported consolidated net profit after tax worth EGP 906.80 million, a surge from EGP 754.95 million in H1-21.
