Riyadh – Mubasher: The board of Almarai Company suggested a cash dividend distribution of SAR 1 per share, representing 10% of the share nominal value, for 2022.

Under the board’s proposal which was made on 19 December 2022, Almarai would disburse a total of SAR 1 billion for 1 billion eligible shares, according to a bourse filing.

The distribution date for the dividends will be unveiled after obtaining the shareholders’ approval.

In the January-September 2022 period, the Saudi firm logged net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 1.40 billion, up 9.94% from SAR 1.27 billion during the first nine months (9M) of 2021.

The revenues jumped by 19.76% to SAR 13.88 billion in 9M-22 from SAR 11.59 billion in 9M-21, while the earnings per share (EPS) grew to SAR 1.43 from SAR 1.30.
