UAE stock markets close Thursday lower

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) fell by 16.69 points (0.50%) on Thursday and ended the trading session at 3,323.10 points.

A total of 158.42 million shares were traded at a value of AED 242.57 million.

Ajman Bank, which advanced the gainers with 4.46%, was the most active stock in terms of the trading volume and value with 83.88 million shares exchanged at AED 97.52 million.

Meanwhile, the Commercial Bank of Dubai (CBD( headed the losers with 2.27%.

Similarly, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) levelled down by 0.245% to 10,306.51 points.

The turnover amounted to SAR 1.06 billion through the exchange of 179.68 million shares, whereas the market cap stood at SAR 2.64 trillion.

Al Wathba National Insurance Company led the decliners with 9.90%, whereas Union Insurance Company was the top riser with 14.91%.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 253.05 million, while Manazel dominated the trading volume with 32.40 million shares.
