Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) at a combined value of EGP 43.50 billion through two issues on Thursday, 29 December.
The first tranche stood at EGP 20.50 billion, carrying a maturity period of 182 days until 4 July 2023, according to official data.
With a tenor of 364 days until 2 January 2024, the second offering was valued at EGP 23 billion.
On 25 December, the CBE issued T-bills worth EGP 28.50 billion through two tranches.
