Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 34 billion through two tranches on Sunday, 15 January.

With a tenor of 91 days until 18 April 2023, the first issue stood at EGP 13 billion, according to official data.

Meanwhile, the second auction was valued at EGP 21 billion and will mature in 273 days on 17 October this year.

On 12 January, the CBE offered T-bills worth EGP 43.50 billion through two issues.
