Riyadh – Mubasher: Bupa Arabia for Cooperative Insurance Company generated net profits before Zakat worth SAR 1.02 billion in 2022, higher by 40.53% year-on-year (YoY) than SAR 730.70 million.

Earnings per share (EPS) stood at SAR 5.78 last year, up from SAR 4.18 in 2021, according to the annual consolidated income statements.

The net written premiums (NWP) rose by 22.19% YoY to SAR 13.80 billion in 2022 from SAR 11.29 billion.

Bupa Arabia reported negative incurred claims worth SAR 10.92 billion as of 31 December 2022, an annual hike of 20.76% from SAR 9.04 billion.

In the first nine months (9M) of 2022, the insurance firm registered SAR 804.30 million in net profit before Zakat, a rise of 9.09% from SAR 737.30 million in the year-ago period.
