CBE issues two-type T-bonds worth EGP 4.5bn on Monday

Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a value of EGP 3 billion through one auction on Monday, 6 March.

The tranche will mature in three years on 6 April 2026, according to official data.

Furthermore, the CBE issued zero-coupon T-bonds worth EGP 1.50 billion through one offering, carrying a tenor of 1.5 years until 27 August 2024

Last week, the central bank auctioned zero-coupon T-bonds and floating-rate T-bonds at a value of EGP 1 billion, each.
