Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The board of e&, formerly known as Etisalat Group, recommended a cash dividend of 40 fils for the second half (H2) of 2022, according to a bourse disclosure.
Under the board’s proposal that was determined on 6 March, the shareholders will receive the announced dividends on 21 April 2023.
This brings the full dividends for 2022 to 80 fils per share, accounting for 80% of the share nominal value.
Last year, the ADX-listed firm recorded net profits attributable to the equityholders worth AED 10 billion, higher by 7.40% than AED 9.31 billion in 2021.
Revenues declined by 1.70% to AED 52.43 billion in 2022 from AED 53.34 billion in 2021, whereas the earnings per share (EPS) increased to AED 1.15 from AED 1.07.
