UAE stock markets close Tuesday with negative performance

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) ended Tuesday's trading session lower by 26.88 points (0.77%) at 3,429.30 points.

DFM’s turnover amounted to AED 325.28 million through the exchange of 105.37 million shares.

Emaar Properties witnessed the highest turnover of AED 91.69 million, in addition to dominating the trading volume with 16.18 million shares.

Dar Al Takaful led the risers with 11.87%, whereas Orascom Construction was the top faller with 10%.

Likewise, the benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) went down by 0.489% to 9,947.85 points.

A total of 173.97 million shares were exchanged at an amount of AED 1.72 billion, whereas the market cap value hit AED 2.55 trillion.

Bank of Sharjah advanced the gainers with 5.78%, while Foodco National Foodstuff (FNF) headed the losers with 9.71%.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 350.87 million, whereas Borouge was the most active stock with 22.74 million shares.
