Cairo – Mubasher: Raya Contact Center recorded consolidated net profits after tax of EGP 42.22 million in 2022, higher than EGP 21.86 million in 2021, including minority interest.

The firm generated revenues worth EGP 1.21 billion last year, compared to EGP 789.31 million during the January-December 2021 period, according to the financial results.

Basic and diluted earnings per share (EPS) jumped to EGP 0.18 in 2022 from EGP 0.10 in 2021, whereas the total assets hiked to EGP 1.25 billion from EGP 903.20 million.

Standalone Income Statements

The EGX-listed company turned to standalone net losses after tax worth EGP 11.10 million in 2022, versus net profits of EGP 27.06 million in 2021.

Meanwhile, the basic and diluted loss per share settled at EGP 0.06 last year, against EPS of 0.11 in January-December 2021.

Non-consolidated revenues climbed to EGP 741.86 million as of 31 December 2022 from EGP 598.69 million a year earlier, while the total assets increased to EGP 917.50 million from EGP 780.87 million.

Ahmed Abouelezz, CEO of Raya Contact Center, highlighted: "We are pleased to report on our full-year 2022 results which show solid growth despite the economic headwinds that impacted global economies."

Abouelezz noted: “Gulf CX has been well-received in the KSA market, garnering much attention, and is already securing RCX a strong client roster and pipeline. As a result of the demand in KSA, we have expanded into Riyadh through our new 400-seat facility, to meet our robust pipeline.”

“In line with our expansion and diversification plans, RCX is actively pursuing its acquisition plans to further expand its delivery locations and grow its share in the US client market,” he concluded.

In the first nine months (9M) of 2022, the company’s consolidated net profits after tax stood at EGP 7.80 million, an annual plunge of 61% from EGP 20.03 million.
