Cairo – Mubahser: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) has launched a new website to enhance the visitors’ experience in accordance with the latest technological developments, according to an official statement.

Through the new platform, users will be able to obtain all needed information and identify the roles and responsibilities of CBE, in addition to acknowledging the bank’s different functions and sectors. 

This step aligns with the CBE's objectives to develop various effective communication channels and boost transparency of all the measures aimed at achieving the key mandates concerned with monetary and financial stability.

“The new CBE website provides visitors with accurate and up-to-date information of all events and news, including international reserves updates, capital markets, inflation data, laws and regulations governing the banking section,” the financial authority highlighted.

Additionally, the recently-established platform has a “dedicated section about CBE, the achievements in the FinTech ecosystem, the expansion in digital payments usage, and the advancements in cybersecurity procedures.”
