Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bonds (T-bonds) at an aggregated value of EGP 4.25 billion through two tranches on Monday, 14 August 2023.
The first issue was valued at EGP 4 billion, holding a tenor of three years until 11 July 2026, according to official data.
Meanwhile, the second offering stood at EGP 250 million and will mature in five years on 13 October 2027.
Last week, the financial authority issued fixed T-bonds and floating-rate T-bonds at a value of EGP 250 million and EGP 750 million, respectively.
