Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 43 billion through two tranches on Thursday, 17 August.
The first issue stood at EGP 19 billion and will mature in 182 days on 20 February 2024, according to official data.
Carrying a 364-day maturity period until 20 August next year, the second offering was valued at EGP 24 billion.
Earlier this week, the central bank auctioned T-bills at a combined value of EGP 40 billion through two offerings.
