Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s net international reserves amounted to more than $34.92 billion at the end of August 2023, according to official data by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
This year’s August figures signalled an approximate surge of 5.39% when compared to $33.14 billion during the same month in 2022.
On a monthly basis, the net foreign reserves in Egypt increased from $34.87 billion at the end of July 2023 and from $34.80 billion in June.
It is worth noting that the Arab republic’s headline seasonally adjusted Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) hit 49.2 in August.
