Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 40 billion through two issues on Sunday, 17 September.

The first offering stood at EGP 23 billion, carrying a tenor of 91 days until 19 December 2023, according to official data.

The second tranche was valued at EGP 17 billion and will mature in 273 days on 18 June 2024.

On 14 September, the financial regulatory announced T-bills worth EGP 42.50 billion through two auctions.
