UAE – Mubasher: Emirates Integrated Telecommunications Company (du) has awarded Comba Telecom Systems Holdings Limited, a provider of wireless solutions, a multi-year frame agreement to support the UAE firm’s network expansion and evolution, according to a press release.
Under this new agreement, Comba will provide du with an array of state-of-the-art Base Station Antennas and Ancillaries, bolstering the listed company’s network expansion efforts.
The contract further builds on the existing frame agreements signed between Comba and du in 2021, which focused on supplying IBS passive products and repeaters.
Senior Vice President of Comba and President of Comba Telecom International, Annabel Huo, said: "This new agreement is a testament to our commitment to enabling du to build future-proof, high-efficient, and green network infrastructure through technology and product innovation."
Chief Technology Officer at du, Saleem Al Balooshi, said: "du provides best-in-class network infrastructure and smart networks that transform lives and businesses across the UAE.”
du also penned an agreement with Cinturion to deliver various routes to the Bermuda-based firm’s customers.
Last month, du partnered with GoDaddy to help entrepreneurs as well as small-to-medium businesses digitise in the UAE through connectivity solutions.
