UAE – Mubasher: Delaware-headquartered startup AC3D has launched its operations in the UAE to serve the GCC region, with an objective of making the construction sector greener, cheaper, and faster.

AC3D, which develops an integrated construction 3D-printing technology, has its 3D printer located in Jebel Ali Industrial Area in Dubai, according to a press release.

The next-generation 3D printers will be assembled in the UAE and offer different environmental benefits that align with global sustainability efforts like the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Founder and CEO of AC3D, Boris Kozlov, said: "In addition to reducing CO2 emissions and minimising waste, our vertically integrated technology paves the way for energy-efficient homes, enabling the creation of free-form architectural designs, reducing the amount of construction waste, and ensuring resistance to natural disasters.”

Meanwhile, the 3D construction printing market is claimed to hit $2.50 billion in 2025, which would signal a leap from $500 million in 2023.

The startup uses sustainable 3D printing materials which are notably the 100% cementless geopolymer for a nearly net-zero construction process.

The company further aims to fast-track the construction processes while achieving up to four times surge in speed and using sustainable printing materials.
