Cairo – Mubasher: The net international reserves of Egypt amounted to more than $34.97 billion at the end of September 2023, according to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
On a monthly basis, the recorded value is higher by nearly $42 million than $34.92 billion in August 2023.
Earlier this week, on 2 October, the CBE offered treasury bills (T-bills) as well as treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a total value of EGP 50 billion.
It is worth highlighting that the central bank halted its operations on Thursday, in celebration of the victory of the 6 October 1973 War.
Meanwhile, the banks operating in the Arab Republic will resume work and trading on Sunday, 8 October.
