UAE stock markets see negative performance on Monday

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) went down by 108.57 points (2.60%) and ended Monday’s trading session at 4,056.04 points.

The turnover hit AED 598.05 million through the exchange of 223.85 million shares.

Emaar Properties witnessed the highest turnover of AED 241.83 million, while Shuaa Capital was the most active stock with 32.58 million shares.

Naeem Holding headed the decliners with 10%, whereas BHM Capital Financial Services led the risers with 14.76%.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) also closed the session lower by 1.29% at 9,630.54 points.

A total of 197.83 million shares were traded at a value of AED 1.09 billion, while the market cap value amounted to AED 2.77 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) posted the highest turnover of AED 253.89 million, whereas Multiply Group dominated the trading volume with 22.35 million shares.

Gulf Pharmaceutical Industries (Julphar) advanced the gainers with 0.49%, while Hayah Insurance was the top faller with 8.09%.
