CBE issues T-bonds, floating-rate note on Monday

Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) auctioned treasury bonds (T-bonds) at a value of EGP 2.50 billion through on issue on Monday, 16 October 2023.

The fixed coupon will mature in three years on 17 October 2026, according to official data.

Additionally, the CBE issued floating-rate T-bonds worth EGP 500 million through one tranche. The offering holds a three-year tenor until 3 October 2026.

Last week, the central bank offered treasury bills (T-bills) and T-bonds at a total value of EGP 50.50 billion.
