Riyadh – Mubasher: The seventh edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) conference has kicked off on Tuesday, 24 October 2023, in the capital of Saudi Arabia under The New Compass theme.

The event will last for three days until 26 October, bringing together world leaders and policy makers, major industrial companies, investors, and innovators.

FII’s seventh conference aims at addressing the global challenges facing the world in different fields such as climate, economics, technology, and investment.

In a first, the 2023 edition of FII conference will be exclusive to FII Institute members, strategic partners and their guests, as well as decision makers and international leaders. Meanwhile, the event is expected to witness the attendance of 5,000 delegates and 500 speakers.

FII Institute CEO, Richard Attias, earlier said: “As a symbol of guidance and direction, the compass represents the interconnectedness of all directions. More than ever in these current unpredictable times, it is essential for the FII community to come together to redesign a new compass as a tool for navigation and inspiration," according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

It is worth noting that FII Institute is a global non-profit foundation that fosters great minds from across the globe, with the objective of turning ideas into real-world solutions and actions in four segments, namely artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics, education, healthcare, and sustainability.

In 2022, the sixth edition of the FII conference took place in Riyadh under the theme: Investing in Humanity: Enabling a New Global Order.

There were key remarks addressed in FII6 while Saudi and regional entities took part in last year’s event as they participated in a carbon credit auction that followed the creation of the Regional Voluntary Carbon Market Company by the Public Investment Fund (PIF) and the listed Saudi Tadawul Group Holding Company.
