Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) issued treasury bills (T-bills) at a total value of EGP 47.50 billion through two auctions on Sunday, 19 November 2023.
The first issue was valued at EGP 23 billion and will mature in 91 days on 20 February 2024, according to official data.
With a tenor of 273 days until 20 August next year, the second offering stood at EGP 24.50 billion.
Last Thursday, the central bank unveiled T-bills worth EGP 46.50 billion through two tranches.
