CBE auctions T-bonds worth EGP 3.25bn on Monday

Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) offered treasury bonds (T-bonds) at an aggregated value of EGP 3.25 billion through two issues on Monday, 20 November 2023.

The first tranche stood at EGP 3 billion, holding a tenor of three years until 7 November 2026, according to official data.

The second offering was valued at EGP 250 million and will mature in five years on 13 October 2027.

Last week, the central bank issued T-bonds and floating-rate T-bonds at a value of EGP 2.50 billion and EGP 500 million, respectively.
