UAE stock markets close Tuesday with collective gains

UAE – Mubasher: The main index of Dubai Financial Market (DFM) gained 14.02 points (0.35%) and closed Tuesday’s trading session in the green zone at 4,008,61 points.

DFM's turnover stood at AED 523.47 million through the exchange of 120.36 million shares.

Emaar Properties posted the highest turnover of AED 113.43 million, while Ajman Bank was the most active stock with 21.50 million shares.

Watania International Holding led the risers with 3.09%, whereas Takaful Emarat headed the fallers with 2.43%.

The benchmark index of the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) rose by 0.271% to 9,541.13 points.

A total of 252.03 million shares were traded at an amount of AED 1.07 billion, whereas the market cap value reached AED 2.87 trillion.

International Holding Company (IHC) generated the highest turnover of AED 225.09 million, while Dana Gas dominated trading volume with 77.82 million shares.

Gulf Cement Company was the top gainer with 5.88%, while Foodco National Foodstuff (FNF) headed the losers with 5.67%.
